1-What is a cookie?
A cookie is a tiny element of data stored on the hard drive of the terminal’s user (computer, tablet, mobile) through a navigation browser when visiting on-line services. Cookies are widely used by websites. They guarantee their functioning or improve the browsing, and supply also certain information, in particular in terms of measure of audience, to the owners of these websites. Cookies set up by FollowFocus can include information concerning the on-line preferences of the users and allow to adapt the Website to your centers of interest.
Cookies recorded by FollowFocus or by third parties when the user visits the Website do not recognize the user personally as individual, but recognize only the used device. Cookies store no personal data but give simply information about the browsing of the user in order to recognize the terminal later on.
Cookies cause no damage to the terminal, but allow some actions more easily, such as finding preferences, to fulfill in advance certain fields and to adapt the contents of the services of FollowFocus.
If the user does not wish to receive cookies in a general way or wish to refuse only certain cookies, he/she can modify the parameters of his/her browser in an appropriate way.
Click on the little cog in the top-right corner. Select Internet Options. Choose the Privacy tab and click the Advanced button. On the next screen, select Block for both First-party and Third-party Cookies. Last but not least, uncheck Always allow session cookies. Click OK. To re-enable cookies in Internet Explorer, repeat the steps above, but this time select the Accept options. Alternately, you can select the Prompt option; this instructs your browser to ask you for permission to accept or decline cookies individually.
click on the three dots in the top-right corner. Click on Settings. In the next flyout menu, click on Privacy & Security. See the Cookies section here at the top? Just click on the Block all cookies option. And when you want to re-enable cookies, just click on Don’t block cookies.
Click on the three lines at the top-right of your screen. Then click Options. Choose the Privacy & Security category on the left. Click on the option to block Third-Party Cookies and Trackers. Scroll down a bit to find the Block cookies and site data option. Select the All cookies option. To re-enable cookies, follow the same steps, but choose the Accept cookies and site data option.??Safari: Click on Safari in the top-left corner of your main menu. Select Preferences. Click on Privacy, and select Block all cookies. Confirm the warning message. To re-enable cookies in Safari, follow the same instructions. Then untick the Block all cookies option.?
At the top right, click More / Settings. Under "Privacy and security," click Site settings. Click Cookies. From here, you can turn on cookies: next to "Blocked," turn on the switch. You can also turn off cookies: turn off Allow sites to save and read cookie data.
3-How does FollowFocus use the cookies?
Information collected through cookies help FollowFocus to analyze the use of the Website and to enable the users to benefit from a better experience when visiting the Website. This data does not include any personal information about you and is used only to measure and improve the effectiveness of our website. FollowFocus does not intend to use the cookies to deliver personalized ads, in particular for children.
4-Which kind of cookies are on the website?
The functional cookies enable the Website:
to adapt the display of the Website (used language, screen resolution, used operating system, etc.), according to the materials and the software of reading your terminal contains. These cookies expire at the end of the session;
to facilitate the researches by storing researches previously made by the user. These cookies will be stored for a 13-month period.

The User can however oppose these various operations by configuring his browser, such as Internet Explorer or Firefox, by following the instructions, also indicated above, which are supplied for that purpose on his/her browser website or, failing that, on the one of the French data protection authority. In case of exercise of the right of opposition, FollowFocus confirms that no data of connection will be transmitted to any supplier of analysis of audience tools. Moreover, the user has a right of access to its own data that he/she can exercise by contacting the concerned supplier, by specifying the number identifying of the cookie which will be attributed to him/her by the latter.
